Verify an IBNIC Credential.

IBNIC — the International Board of NLP and Integrative Coaching — is the independent, nonprofit accreditation body for NLP training worldwide.

Every certificate issued through an IBNIC-accredited school carries a unique IBNIC Credential Number. Enter it here to receive instant confirmation of its validity.

IBNIC Credential Verification

Why IBNIC Does Not Maintain a Public Directory.

Privacy by design

Unlike publicly searchable directories, IBNIC’s verification system does not expose a practitioner’s name, location, or personal details online. There is no list to scrape and no profile to harvest.

AI and scraping resistant

Because verification is code-based rather than directory-based, the system cannot be bulk-harvested by AI tools or third parties. Personal data stays protected by design, not by policy alone.

Ideal for the discreet practitioner

Many certified NLP Practitioners and Master Practitioners work privately, inside organizations, or in sensitive fields where appearing on a public register is uncomfortable or inappropriate. Their credentials remain fully verifiable — by the people who matter.

Credibility without exposure

A practitioner can present their certificate and Credential Number to a client or employer and let their credentials speak for themselves, entirely on their own terms.

What a Verification Result Confirms.

01

The credential exists.

The Credential Number entered matches a certificate issued through the IBNIC credential register. It has not been fabricated or altered.

02

The certification level.

Whether the practitioner holds NLP Practitioner or NLP Master Practitioner certification through an IBNIC-accredited school.

03

The issuing school.

The name of the accredited school through which the certificate was issued.

04

The school’s current status.

Whether the issuing school currently holds IBNIC accreditation, and whether that accreditation is active, suspended, or has been revoked.

Questions about verification

A not-found result means either the number was entered incorrectly, the credential has been voided by IBNIC, or the record does not exist in the register. If you believe a valid credential is not being found, contact IBNIC directly with the certificate details and we will investigate.

No. Certificates issued during a period of valid IBNIC accreditation remain fully valid regardless of any subsequent change to the issuing school’s accreditation status. A change in a school’s standing affects the school — it does not retroactively affect the credentials already issued to the students who trained there. Past students are unconditionally protected.

No. IBNIC does not log or report individual verification requests to practitioners. The system confirms or denies credential validity to the person making the request. It does not notify the practitioner that a verification has taken place, and it does not store information about who made the request.

Yes. The IBNIC credential verification system is available globally, at any time, through ibnic.org/verify/. There are no geographic restrictions on who can use the system or submit a verification request.

Ready to pursue independent accreditation?

The standard is published. The process is structured. The decision is independent. If your practice meets the Nine Pillars, IBNIC accreditation is within reach.
